"Violet was a huge pleasure to work with. I have every belief she will do well in whatever field she chooses. All of Lily's research and hard work helped it come together [...] Her help was invaluable" - Sam Bompas (Co-Founder)
THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF FOOD
We produced research, exhibition text, and creative scripts for performance artists at Bompas and Parr's 'The Complete History of Food'. 'TCHOF' was a unique dining experience spanning across five floors of a Belgravia embassy in which visitors embarked on a delicious romp through 730 years of food and drink. All 2,000 tickets sold out within seven days, and media-coverage of the event reached over 110 million people.
We produced initial research and conference notes used in the development of Bompas and Parr's interactive screening of 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'. Described as 'a choreographed adventure through the underground rooms of Welbeck Abbey', guests were invited to watch Spielberg's classic whilst eating Indie-themed meals.
We formed part of the product-photography team for Bompas and Parr's 'Occult Jam' (featured in The Surreal House exhibition at The Barbican and The Sun newspaper).
COCKTAILS WITH BOMPAS AND PARR
We conducted extensive research for the 2011 publication, 'Cocktails with Bompas and Parr': a collection of cocktail recipes, alcohol-inspired anecdotes, and historical drink-based nuggets which Chilled Magazine named 'the ultimate guide to [...] fascinating concoctions'.
We created a unique idea-generation document as part of a confidential project in collaboration with Microsoft, using research to inspire and devise creative strategies for a series of interactive events.
