Times

A fresh, funny, feminist silent movie, bringing Charlie Chaplin's 'Modern Times' into the 21st century. Starring slapstick-starlet, Amalia Vitale.

This film is part of the 'Random Acts' initiative in association with Channel 4. Providing a platform for 'the world's boldest and most innovative creative shorts', previous contributors include: Turner prize winner, Martin Creed, BAFTA-nominated creator, Marcus Armitage, Rankin, Shia LeBeouf, and more.

 

Screenings include: The Odyssey (St Albans), The Lexi Cinema (London), This Way Up (Hull), The Ultimate Picture Palace (Oxford), Encounters Film Festival, Lighthouse (Poole), The Rio (London).

SPECIAL SCREENING

In September 2017, 'Really Modern Times' was screened at The Rio cinema as a mini-movie before Armando Iannucci's 'The Death of Stalin', starring Steve Buscemi, Simon Russell Beale, Paddy Considine, Rupert Friend, Jason Isaacs, Michael Palin, Andrea Riseborough and Jeffrey Tambor.
